The University of Haripur has taken a significant step towards enhancing academic and industrial collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gawah Advertisement (SMC) Private Limited.
This agreement reflects the university’s commitment to providing quality education along with practical and professional opportunities aligned with modern industry demands.
Under the MoU, both organizations will jointly promote academic, research, and developmental activities aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant skills and hands-on experience. A key highlight of this partnership is the organization of a 3-day Educational and Job Expo 2026 at TMA Hall Haripur, where the university will play a leading role.
The agreement also includes collaboration in organizing scientific seminars, conferences, symposia, and workshops. Additionally, both parties will exchange academic information, publications, research reports, and other scholarly materials, along with providing technical and advisory support when required. These initiatives aim to enhance academic excellence and expand professional exposure for students and faculty.
The MoU was formally signed by Riaz Muhammad, Registrar of the University of Haripur, and Shahid Akhtar Awan, CEO of Gawah Advertisement (SMC) Private Limited, in the presence of representatives from both organizations and members of the media.
Following the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman addressed a press conference, stating that the university is steadily progressing and such collaborations create valuable opportunities for students to excel in practical fields.
He further emphasized that the University of Haripur will continue to build impactful partnerships aimed at contributing to the development of students, faculty, and society, while striving to become a leading center of knowledge, research, and innovation.
