The grand opening ceremony of the 3-day “Education & Job Fair Expo 2026” was held in Haripur with great enthusiasm and participation from various sectors of society.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Allama Muhammad Ishaq Tanoli, followed by a beautiful Naat-e-Rasool ﷺ presented by renowned journalist and Naat Khawan Salman Awan, which captivated the audience.
On the first day of the Education & Job Fair Expo, the stage secretary duties were professionally conducted by senior journalist Dr. Arshad Jamal, who managed the proceedings in an impressive manner.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Assistant Commissioner Haripur, Noor Nawaz Khan, who formally inaugurated the expo and later visited various educational, business, and technical skill development stalls. During the visit, he interacted with skilled women entrepreneurs, young business personalities, students, and representatives of different organizations. He also discussed the challenges and issues they face in the fields of education, employment, and business.
Expo organizer Shahid Akhtar Awan warmly welcomed the chief guest, district administration, University of Haripur, police administration, TMA Haripur, media representatives, sponsors, and team members. In his welcome address, he stated that such positive and constructive activities play a vital role in providing better opportunities for education, skills, business growth, and employment to the younger generation.
He also expressed special gratitude to all supporting institutions, participants, sponsors, and the management team, saying that the successful organization of such a grand expo would not have been possible without their cooperation and support.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Noor Nawaz Khan appreciated the efforts of Shahid Akhtar Awan and his entire team. He said that educational and welfare-based programs like this bring positive change and constructive thinking to society.
He further stated that Deputy Commissioner Haripur, Waseem Ahmad, has always given clear instructions to fully support and encourage organizations and private companies that actively work for education, employment opportunities, youth guidance, and other positive social initiatives.
He added that the “Education & Job Fair Expo 2026” would prove to be an excellent platform for youth, where they can explore new opportunities in education, skills, entrepreneurship, and employment while showcasing their talents and potential.
A large number of prominent personalities from different walks of life, students, teachers, business community members, social workers, media representatives, and citizens attended the ceremony and highly appreciated the organization of the expo.
